Cahal Pech's (which means place of the sign) in Belize has 34 different buildings including a beautiful temple and two separate ball game fields. Probably this city, built on a hill, was the home of the nobility and their ministry. The Cahal Pech's location was already inhabited from 1,000 BC and was around 800 AD. leave.

From San Ignacio you can reach Cahal Pech's after a walk (uphill) or about 15 minutes. The Cahal Pech's site is open daily from 9.00 - 16.30.
